AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Classes at Century Canine
Your puppy is cute. Your shoes are not safe. Let's fix that.
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsible ownership — and our 6-week class covers all of it. Over six fun, structured sessions, you and your pup will tackle the real stuff: sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, coming when called, and how to actually handle a puppy who thinks your hands are chew toys. We'll also answer your burning questions about house training, chewing, jumping, and everything else that has you Googling at midnight.
At the end of the 6 weeks, your puppy will be tested on 20 skills and behaviors. Pass the test and your pup earns an official AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title, a frameable certificate, and gets listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records. Yes, your dog will have credentials before most people do.
The program is open to both purebred and mixed breed dogs, so every puppy is welcome. Puppies must be under 1 year of age and attend at least 6 classes with an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator.
Completing S.T.A.R. Puppy also sets you up perfectly for the next step — the Canine Good Citizen program, the gold standard for polite dog behavior and a fantastic head start for the world of dog sports.
